为进一步提高我国儿科呼吸系统疾病的临床诊断与治疗水平，总结近年来儿童呼吸领域的新成果，推动小儿呼吸病学的繁荣和科技成果应用，推动呼吸病学专科区域间学术交流和合作，由首都医科大学附属北京儿童医院承办的“2011年国际儿科呼吸论坛暨呼吸系统疾病新进展学习班”将于2011年10月15日-18日在北京召开。该项目为国家级继续教育项目，学分8分。 

　　本次会议将邀请国内外知名专家Robert Lemanske教授， Chris O’Callaghan教授，Annika Linda教授，Peter Van Asperen教授、王德云教授、江载芳教授、申昆玲教授等就小儿呼吸疾病的临床新理论、新技术、新进展，特别是一些临床难点、热点、焦点问题，进行专题演讲与对话交流。内容涉及反复呼吸道感染、社区性获得性肺炎、哮喘、阻塞性呼吸睡眠障碍、肺间质性疾病、纤毛运动障碍、急性肺损伤、儿童无创通气的应用、支气管镜技术、呼吸系统疑难病例的诊断思维等。欢迎广大儿科医务工作者参与本次会议。

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to our first International Pediatric
 Respiratory Forum (IPRF) which will be held in Beijing 15-16 October, 2011.

The 2011 International Pediatric Respiratory Forum is the first international 
meeting held in Beijing that dedicated to pediatric pulmonology. The IPRF aims 
to bring together international and local medical experts specializing in 
a range of respiratory diseases, to share their clinical knowledge and 
experience to improve diagnostic methods, treatment and disease management 
outcome. We have successfully held 3 national pediatric respiratory 
courses over the past 6 years, in which many participants from all 
over the country enrolled. We would like to expand this course into an 
international event which will offer the latest information and knowledge 
to the participants by the global invited speakers. 

The forum will cover infection, inflammation, allergy, sleep medicine, 
bronchoscopy and other field in respiratory medicine. We will balance science 
with clinical topics, as well as the breadth and depth, to fit individual interest. 

The IPRF will take place in Beijing, the capital of the People‘s Republic 
of China. Beijing is also one of the six ancient cities in China and the 
nation‘s political and cultural center. I wish you may also learn more about 
China and its unique culture.
